Why BSC?

CompoundX runs on BNB Smart Chain (BSC) for three concrete reasons: speed, cost, and finality.

A typical BSC transaction settles in 1–3 seconds and costs a few cents at most. For a protocol that distributes daily yield, the alternative — paying $5–$50 in gas every time you claim — would erase the entire economic model for small depositors. By running on BSC, CompoundX honors its $1 minimum: a $1 deposit is actually viable, not theoretical.

BSC also has the institutional-grade infrastructure that an immutable yield protocol requires. Audit firms understand the EVM environment. Block explorers verify contracts in plain English. Wallet support is universal. None of this would be true on a niche or experimental chain.

Why USDT specifically?

USDT (Tether USD) is the most liquid stablecoin on BSC. Every deposit, every yield distribution, every commission payment happens in USDT. There is no native CompoundX token, so there is no token volatility, no token unlock schedule, and no token-driven incentive misalignment.

When you deposit $1,000 USDT, you have a position worth $1,000. When the contract pays your 5% daily yield, you receive $50 USDT — not $50 worth of a token that might be worth $30 next week.

What you should know

USDT on BSC uses the BEP-20 standard. It is not the same as USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20) or USDT on Tron (TRC-20). When you fund your wallet, make sure your exchange sends BEP-20 USDT to your BSC wallet address. Most major exchanges support this directly, but if your platform only offers ERC-20 or TRC-20, you'll need to bridge first.

Beyond that: always double-check the contract address against the verified address listed on BscScan, never share your seed phrase with anyone, and keep a small BNB balance for gas. That's the entire technical surface area you need to manage.
